“There are always two people in every picture: the photographer and the viewer.”

Hello, I’m Madison

Thank  you for being interested in my work. My portfolio speaks of my work, here I’ll tell you a bit about me. After-all I might be spending some of the most intimate moments of your life with you —together with my camera

Hi there!

My name is Madison Godard. I’m 29 years old and grew up in Amsterdam. I live together with my best friend (my little doggy, Jean Luc) on a house boat in Amsterdam. As a child I traveled often with my parents and discovered early on that photographs were more than souvenirs. For me they are memories that help us remember the details of time past.

Photography has always been something I’ve taken serious. I am always seeing and framing shots. It doesn’t turn off and on. It’s on all the time. I want to capture the details as much as the big picture.

I’ve never thought of having any other occupation than photography. I knew I didn’t want to do studio work, or conventional —traditional photography. I look back at my grandparents wedding photographs and I only see two people posing. I don’t see the emotions, the joy and any details anywhere. I know nothing about their day, the location, the guests —their photographs, as beautiful as they are don’t tell a story.

This is why the Fine Art Photography has become my style.  I love capturing the more natural moment after a pose.

Things I love

I love late nights, real laughs, genuine love, fresh air, and going on adventures with my camera in hand. If you’re into photos that feel as real as you are, you want your memories made to last, and you’d like to make two a friend in the process, keep scrolling, and contact me.

Fine Art Photography

Fine art wedding photography isn’t just a catchy phrase; it’s a modern approach in which design is paramount. Fine art wedding images are more graphic and stylized than traditional wedding photojournalism, as if they were pulled from the pages of a glossy wedding or lifestyle magazine.
